Saw a cockatiel on the Transco trail today around 5:30 pm. Obviously someones lost pet. I tried to coax it to my hand, but it flew into the tree nearby (hasn't had its wings clipped lately). If it's not picked up by a human, I would assume it will die (lack of appropriate food, or cold weather), or a hawk will snag it.
